The Centre for East European Studies offers scholarships for students pursuing a Master’s degree in Social Sciences and Humanities at the University of Warsaw. The duration of scholarships is 2 years.
Requirements for applicants
- Master or Specialist diploma (preferably in Humanities), experience of research work within the interests of the East European Studies;
- age limit – 30;
- good knowledge of general questions about Eastern Europe, Central Europe, Russia, Central Asia and the Caucasus, particularly in the 20th century and contemporary issues, especially after the World War II and after 1991;
- successful results of the written test on general knowledge and the interview;
- knowledge of Polish, and also English and Russian languages, so one could understand the lectures and read the literature.
The approximate application deadline is March 15th (every year).
