Ten students of Sumy State University became the scholars of the Foundation Institute for Eastern Studies. They received certificates of money scholarships from Institute’s coordinator, Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary Ambassador of Polish Republic in Ukraine (2005-2010) Jacek Kluczkowski. The meeting took place on March 1st in the SSU Congress Center.

Also, the SSU graduate Yana Us received one-time scholarship for the research “Energy Efficiency in private sector: perspectives and stimulation tools”, where she compared the experience of energy efficiency implementation in EU countries and in Ukraine. SSU project coordinator – Head of the Department of Practice and Integration Relations with HR Officers Alona Yevdokymova.

Scholars were chosen by the level of English B2, the average grade for the study period not less than 4,5. The additional advantage was the experience of volunteering activity and speaking other foreign languages. The amount of scholarship is $1000.

Also, Jacek Kluczkowski invited scholars to visit Economic forum-2019 in Krynica-Zdroj (Poland) as volunteers. “The trip to the Forum will be very useful for you. The Forum in Poland is similar to the World Economic Forum in Davos. Krynica-Zdruj is annually visited by 3-4 thousand of people, around 250 discussions are going on in various thematic blocks – macroeconomics, international politics, health care etc. It should be noted that among Forum foreign representatives Ukraine is always the first – approximately 10% of all those present” - Jacek Kluczkowski noted.
