SSU volunteers organized an art-exhibition “What does peace mean to me?” on the International Day of Peace, 21 September. Everyone had an opportunity to draw in color their own associations with “peace” on the University central square. All drawings were placed at the thematic stand.

Being one of the most dynamic universities in Ukraine Sumy State University has got the entire page in an annual publication of university rankings by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) Company. This is the first Ukrainian university, published in the “QS World University Rankings”.

On September 11, SSU journalism students took part in the online meeting on information warfare with the British political scientist, journalist, and TV producer Peter Pomerantsev. He delivered lectures not only for Sumy students but to large number of students from Kyiv, Zaporizhia, Kherson, Cherkasy, and Chernivtsi.

Out of more than 100 applications filed by Ukrainian universities and organizations the international project of Sumy State University is among 10 winners of the first call of Key Action 2 – Capacity building in the Field of Higher Education 2015 (ex-TEMPUS).
