A student of the 3rd course of the Faculty of Foreign Philology and Social Communications of Sumy State University (major “Translation”) Anastasiia Korotun presented Ukraine in the youth mobility programme on intercultural studies and visual thinking «Learn Connect Express 2», which was held in Aghveran, Armenia.

The youth exchange included 3 blocks. The 1st block was dedicated to the implementation and skills developing on intercultural studies and communication within participants. The 2nd block was about couchsurfing and immersing into the typical rural life of Armenia. The participants were visualizing their experience of interaction with the local citizens during the 3rd block.

The students who took part in the project studied a right intercultural communication. The facilitators leveled up the awareness of the participants concerning the intercultural sensitivity, strengthened their management skills and those concerning the conflicts transformation. They, also, showed how to develop visual thinking. One of the main tasks of the exchange programme is to enable participants to disseminate the views concerning the social cohesion and interaction, the experience of admitting something new and the culture of peace.

The participants of the project were enabled to visit Yerevan, the capital of the country, and to study one of the most favorite and the most famous landscapes of Armenia Garni.
