On September 7th, members of the roundtable discussion summed up the project “Mentoring Innovation Programme “Е-Solutions” for Sumy Region Leaders” at Sumy State University. Organizers, trainers and participants of the project, students and teachers of SSU joined the meeting.

According to the project coordinator at SSU Anna Pavlenko, the project is aimed at cooperation of leaders of NGOs with internally displaced persons through the creation of an online programme on business development. Within four months the project participants have been engaged into three training courses: "Local Business Development Techniques for Leaders at NGOs", "How to Become a Blogger" and "How to Start Online Business: eBay, Etsy, Amazon". During the trainings they talked about modern trends of online business, the basics of Internet marketing and took classes of sales techniques and customers communications.

Natalia Sokolenko, the news presenter of the HROMADSKE radio and trainer of the Second Summer School, believes that this project is mutually beneficial for both parties: every participating NGO can find its target audience, whereas internally displaced persons, thanks to such cooperation, feel themselves psychologically and socially protected.

The project is implemented by the NGO "Intellectual People of Sumy Region" in cooperation with the NGO “Human Rights Foundation” with the financial support of the Swiss Cooperation Office.
