Since January 12, 2017 SSU holds educational trainings on self-employment, micro-entrepreneurship and skills upgrading within the project ‘Integration and stabilization support by providing means of subsistence to internally displaced persons and the conflict-affected population in Ukraine’. The project’s participants are 175 people forced to move due to the events in the Crimea and the Eastern Ukraine, and also the members of local communities.
It is the first time that SSU has entered the world’s universities rankings in subject areas with high positions. They are completed by Round University Ranking. These rankings evaluate universities in specific subject areas and that’s why they are so popular among future students, academic and business community.
This School is a joint project of SSU and Charitable Foundation ‘Ukrainian Social Academy’, which was implemented from September to the end of December 2016 at SSU Congress Center. The project was aimed to promote the development of social innovation and entrepreneurship in Sumy, and teach everyone to manage projects, work in the team of likeminded people, deal with finances, plan and achieve business goals.
According to 2016 UI Green Metric World University Rankings, that evaluates more than 500 world universities based on the level of green technologies’ development, SSU takes the first place in Ukraine and the 65th place in the world.
